Adult Abbreviated In-Person Classroom

This is a State of Ohio approved Adult Abbreviated course. It is for everyone over the age of 18 who has a valid permit and is seeking to receive a Driver's License.
Typically most people wait to take the Adult Abbreviated course until they have failed one or both parts of their driver's test. So, if you are in that category, you are mandated by the state to take an abbreviated driver's course.
However we strongly recommend anyone over 18 take the Adult Abbreviate course after they have obtained their permit and BEFORE they take their Driving Exam. This benefits you and everyone else in the community!

Permit Prep In-Classroom

This class is designed to educate students on the process to obtain a Drivers License. Also, it teaches students the material necessary to adequately prepare them to take their Temporary Permit Test. Understanding basic rules of the road are essential in order to safely operate a vehicle. Knowledge is the first step in becoming a safe and responsible driver.
This class is not required by the State of Ohio and therefore no certificates are issued. However, we encourage everyone to take this class BEFORE they take their permit test at the BMV.

Vehicle Familiarization

This class familiarizes students with the controls of the vehicle. Students learn the pre-ignition checklist, which is essential in operating a vehicle safely. Additionally students will learn in English all the commands and directions typically given during their Driver’s Exam performed at BMV testing centers. Failure to follow a command even before you get on the road is grounds for automatic failure.
The State of Ohio requires all Driving Exams to be administered in English and the examiner must be able to communicate basic commands with the candidate. Though this class is not required by the State of Ohio and no certificates are given.

Maneuverability Course

This class is hands-on behind the wheel. The purpose of this course is to prepare students to take their exam at the Driver Exam Station. Maximum class size for this class is 4 students to ensure adequate time to practice and learn maneuverability. Students must take our Adult Abbreviated Course and our Vehicle Familiarization Course before they are eligible to take this course.
